Taking the stage at this year's Harvest Festival
Kason Lambert, 10 a.m.
Without one singular place to call home, Kason found his music home in Clayton. His music journey began with teaching himself his favorite songs on guitar in his bedroom. That soon turned into performing for family and friends, while building up the courage to take it further.
After moving to Clayton in 2022, Kason was given the opportunity to play at open mics and continue to grow his connection and community of other music enthusiasts. Kason leads with his folk inspired sound and proceeds to learn more about all styles of music production and performance. He says that he loves being given the space to play the music that is special to him.
Rebel Souls, 11 a.m.
Based in Clayton and headed up by lead vocalist Dexter Espinoza, who has performed all over the world with The Icons of Classic Rock, six-time Grammy winner Bobby Kimball of Toto and Bill Champlin of Chicago. The band is comprised of many top rock players from the Raleigh area. Their repertoire is composed of the greatest rock hits of all time and are thrilled to be included on this year’s Harvest Festival lineup!
Julia Golden, noon
Season 29 “The Voice” participant, Julia Golden grew up surrounded by music, family and her grandparents’ 60-acre homestead. She spent her childhood performing in theater productions before falling in love with songwriting at Interlochen Arts Academy, where she earned a scholarship. After teaching herself guitar at 15, Julia began performing locally and later graduated high school early to pursue music full-time. Within a year, she played more than 240 shows, released her debut EP and made her debut at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe. Her parents, who are former radio hosts, now help run her live sound and social media, keeping music a true family affair. Rooted in country storytelling and inspired by the land that raised her, Julia shares her songs, heart and small-town story with the world.
Wade Hill, 1 p.m.
Born and raised in Clayton, Wade Hill delivers an authentic blend of Country, Southern and classic rock influences paired with distinct soulful vocals and heartfelt storytelling. Known for his genuine Southern sound, Wade has supported such artists including: The Marshal Tucker Band, Aaron Tippin, Mark Wheels, The Josh Abbott Band, Jason Michael Carroll and Opry favorite and NC natives The Malpass Brothers. With a growing catalog of original music and a passion for connecting with audiences, Wade Hill brings a timeless yet modern country sound to every stage he has the honor to grace. “Being native to Clayton, it always feel so very special to be at home doing what you love,” he said. “I am so grateful to be a part of this year’s Harvest Festival Festivities.”
Aaron Hamm and The Big River Band, 2:30 p.m.
Aaron Hamm and the Big River Band is a country-western group known for their traditional sound. With Aaron’s powerful baritone vocals and the soulful twang of the steel guitar, they bring a classic country vibe to every performance. Originally getting their start right here in Clayton, Aaron Hamm and the Big River Band has grown from a local recording artist favorite into a touring act supporting renowned national artists including Whitey Morgan, David Allan Coe, Billy Don Burns, Jason Aldean, Travis Tritt, Brooks & Dunn, Keith Urban, Hank Williams Jr. and many more. Get ready to two-step with this talented group!
